This is the amusing moment a couple fell from a fussy carabao during riding practice for their wedding.

Boyfriend Dannyboy Jabaybay climbed the cattle's back first, followed by girlfriend Aileen, as they wanted to prepare for a traditional ceremony in Negros Oriental province, the Philippines, on October 6.

But as relatives assisted them, the creature suddenly sped off, with the engaged couple losing balance and toppling over.

Footage shows the agitated carabao charging forward before the couple fell. The couple's aunt was also dragged on the cart, but no one was hurt.

Groom's cousin Crestina Rapols said: ‘They wanted to use the carabao as the bridal carriage, so they were practising, but the animal was not cooperating.'

The couple ended up riding another carabao for their wedding.
