This is the amusing moment a proud tourist was the only one to survive being capsized on a wobbly banana boat ride.

Christine Mental boarded the red giant inflatable with 16 other holidaymakers in Batangas province, the Philippines when the incident happened on May 14.

The jet ski that pulled them made a sharp bend that forced the amused tourists off the banana boat except for her.

Footage shows the tourists plunging into the water while Christine remained in her seat.

She said: ‘So the last man standing is me. I have shown them what girl power is.'

While the other outdoor seekers were floating with their orange life vests, triumphant Christine regained her balance on the inflatable and cheered for herself.

She added: 'It was one of the most enjoyable attractions I've tried in this beach. I will definitely try it again.'
