The Ukrainian army helps an old woman with a walking stick shelter from the explosions that rocked Kyiv this morning (October 17) and killed at least four people.

The footage shows a female soldier grabbing the woman's arm and carefully moving her to a more protected spot as drones launch a wave of bombs.

A man and a male military officer are seen walking away with the woman with mobility difficulties.

Today Kyiv was attacked by 28 Iranian "kamikaze" drones.

The mayor of Kyiv, Vitali Klitschko, said that a total of five explosions were heard in the city. He explained: "One of them is in a residential building in the Shevchenkiv district".

According to Ukraine’s air force, around 85% of drones were shot down.

The footage was filmed by a local camera operator.

Already 4 dead have been found under the rubble of a house in the Shevchenkovsky district of the capital, which was hit by a Russian drone Search and rescue work continues. There may still be people under the rubble.
