'I'm here because I'm terrified' says climate protester blocking road in London
Just Stop Oil protesters block the Barons Court junction of the A4 in London early this morning (October 18).
One of the demonstrators, Danielle, originally from Hampshire, explains why she is taking action.
"I am here today because I am terrified. I am doing all I can", she said.
Danielle shares her fears for children's future and wants the UK government to do better. "If we don't, there is not going to be a liveable future for any of us".
When asked about the effectiveness of the tactics Just Stop Oil protesters use, she says: "We've got to try something different because everything we have tried so far hasn't worked".
The video ends with the woman calling on the UK government to stop "any new oil and gas immediately. It is just a death sentence for life on earth".
