Love conquers all for this unlikely Thai couple who fell in love despite their 37-year age difference.

Wuthichai Chantaraj, 19, met his now-girlfriend Janla Namuangrak, 56, when he was just 10 years old.

Divorced grandmother-of-three Janla had asked for his help to clean her messy home in Sakhon Nakhon province in northeast Thailand.

As Wuthichai took out the garbage, moved her potted plants, and did chores for the woman regularly, they began to get to know each other better.

He eventually saw her in a different light - not as a friendly neighbour whom he had known since childhood, but as a woman to whom he was attracted.

Today, they go on dates in restaurants and are not shy about showing affection in public, planting sweet kisses on each other and holding hands while walking.

Wuthichai, also known by his nickname Tung, said: 'I have been with Janla for two years now. It's the first time in my life I felt like I wanted to make sure someone was living comfortably.

'I saw her shabby house and found myself thinking of ways to help her live in a better condition. She is a hardworking woman and also honest. I admire her.'

The couple became intimate around two years ago but kept their relationship secret.

However, they came out as an item at the start of the year when they both decided that they would tell their friends and relatives.

They have been posting their romantic videos and pictures online since January - proving that their relationship is not just a fling.

Janla said she broke up with her husband 20 years ago and they have three children together, who are all in their 30s. She also has grandchildren.

She said that Wuthichai makes her feel young again - and they are now planning to get married.

She said: 'Wuthichai has been like a superhero for me. He helped me every day. Then when he was older we started to have feelings for each other. I was surprised, because I have known him since he was child.

'When we told people we were in love, they thought it was crazy. My children were shocked. But he makes me feel young again and we have stayed together. We're happy. We will get married.'
