Woman herding sheep rescues eagle from watery ditch in China
A woman saved an eagle from a ditch when she was herding sheep in southwestern China.
Video filmed in the city of Zhaotong in Yunnan Province on October 15 shows a woman named Chang taking a soaking eagle out of a ditch, using a hair dryer to dry its feathers and putting it next to a heater to warm it up.
After the bird regained consciousness, Chang released the bird of prey back into the wild.
Chang said it is rare to see an eagle in her area and it was her first time being so close to such a bird.
