This is the amusing moment a cheapskate housewife fixed her shabby washing machine with duct tape to do her laundry.
Footage shows the run down appliance being tied together by a rope and silver duct tape in their home in Mandaluyong City, the Philippines on October 8.
Housewife Mathel Bendanillo said the top load washer was a gift for her wedding from eight years ago so it had sentimental value.
She said: ‘Buying a new one is not economical and it has sentimental value for me. It still works perfectly so why not.'
