A Thai traditional healer claimed he can cure Bell's Palsy through face massage.

Doctor Kitti said he uses a special massage to treat patients with the neurological disorder who come to his clinic in Chonburi province, eastern Thailand.

He first puts crumpled tissue around a patient's mouth before applying pressure on different points of the face.

Footage shows the traditional doctor pressing paper towels on the corner of a woman's lips and using his weight to lightly pin her down.

Doctor Kitti said: 'The difficulty depends from patient to patient. I'm just happy to help other people.'

The doctor added that the woman had Bell's Palsy, but she could move her eyelid, and her face's paralysed side twitched after a session.

He said: ‘We will see improvement in her condition after just one session.'
