A kind driver rescued a lost kitten in the middle of a road in Thailand.

The scared baby feline was cowering next to concrete barriers when motorist Jeab Chanisa saw it in Bangkok on May 12.

Jeab quickly pulled over to save the stray before passing cars could accidentally hit it.

Dashcam footage shows the concerned female driver looking under his car next to road barriers before pulling out the little creature.

She said: 'I was afraid that the kitten may get hurt if a large truck drive on this road.'

Fortunately, the kitten was uninjured when she found it. She said she didn't know how the cat could have reached the middle of the road.

She said: ‘Maybe she wandered away from its mother and siblings, but I don't know how it could reach the middle. Maybe it was dumped. I am just relieved she was not hurt.'

The driver took the cat home and cleaned before being fed. Jeab would take care of the cat temporarily before putting it up for adoption.
