This is the Amazing Falkirk Wheel, An ingenious Boat lift that can lift many boats at the same time, due to Archimedes principal which means the whenever a boat enters, the exact weight in water is removed meaning the lift will always be perfectly balanced thus enabling only a small amount of energy to get the lift moving. This can be found in Falkirk , Scotland and has been running since 2002. The Images were taken on a tripod and stitched together to make a video.
