Determined kid doesn't let his blindness come in the way of his passion for skating
"Blindness does not mean one can’t do hard things," said Hilda Dunford, the filmer of this video and the proud mom of the brave young boy featured in it.
This praiseworthy footage features the visually-impaired boy in question showing insane determination while learning how to skateboard.
"So many people underestimate my son as soon as they see his white cane or as soon as they hear him share he is blind," Hilda told us. "This needs to change. He’s always shown me how capable and determined he is.
"I know he has a long way to go to learn how to navigate the skate park but he’s so proud of conquering his fear and trying it for the first time."
