The confused pooch stared at its surroundings after hearing several loud crashes triggered by the tremors in Chiang Mai province, Thailand, today (October 20).

The Earthquake Observation Division of Thailand's Meteorological Department said the earthquake hit the Doi Saket district of the province at 4:36 am local time. It was recorded at a depth of two kilometres.

No casualties, injuries, or incidents of property damage have been reported so far.

Authorities have deployed personnel to assist villagers in affected areas, local media said.
