Pedestrian who fell into manhole rescued by nearby restaurant staff in China
A restaurant employee rescued a pedestrian that fell into a manhole in southern China.
CCTV footage filmed in the city of Shenzhen in Guangdong Province on October 19 shows a man staring at his phone while walking and falling into the uncovered hole.
A restaurant employee attempting to get customers on the street spotted the incident and ran over to save the man.
Thanks to the restaurant employee's quick actions, the man was rescued and he was not injured seriously.
According to reports, the manholes were opened as the drains were being repaired.
