RCMP Briefing and Detachment related to Murder of Constable Yang in Burnaby, Canada

Police block streets and access to Broadview Park in Burnaby BC where RCMP Constable Yang was murdered. The 3 year veteran of the Burnaby RCMP was with a city parks staff member providing mental health and homeless outreach. The suspect stabbed the 31 year old female officer resulting in her death. The suspect took the officers gun but was quickly shot by other responding officers. The suspect is in serious condition at Burnaby Hospital where there is a heavy Police presence.
