A shocked customer found three snakes mating in a restaurant toilet in Thailand. Footage shows three green tree snakes intertwined among themselves as rescuers evacuated them.

The customer, named Soontron, was leaving the cubicle when he noticed something moving on the hallway's wall. He turned back to look and found the trio bizarrely slithering against each other and called for help.

He said: "I found three green snakes crawling on the wall's hanger. They looked like they were having a threesome".

The snakes were engaging in a mating ritual where males intertwine with a female to fight for her attention.

The customer ran back inside the toilet to hide and called the person who was outside the bathroom for help.

Officers could not enter the restroom to catch the snakes because the door was locked. After about 30 minutes, Soontron decided to take off his clothes to use them as a shield and crawled to unlock the door before he stepped back again.

When people opened the door, Soontron quickly ran out of the restroom.

No one was injured and the snakes were released into the wild.
