Demonstrators took to the streets of Paris and held white roses and pictures of Lola Daviet, a 12-year-old child that was murdered and found in a plastic case in the French capital last Friday (October 14).

The rally, which was held in Place Denfert-Rochereau, was organised by French right-wing parties. Protesters blame the French authorities for "laxism".

A 24-year-old homeless woman from Algeria, under orders to leave France, is currently in custody on suspicion of murder, rape, and torture.
The case has triggered a strong reaction by right-wing supporters.

The footage, which was filmed yesterday (October 20), features an interview with a woman named Alice Cordier who joined the protest.
