An entire house collapsed into a river after the water swelled and eroded its foundations.

Shocking video shows the 20-year-old structure falling apart in front of residents in the Ba Pong district of Ratchaburi province, Thailand, on October 20.

Locals blamed the weathering of the riverbanks on the construction of a dam on the opposite side of the stream.

Villager Jeeranuch Tukrua, a neighbour of the homeowner whose house was destroyed, said: 'The dam construction on the opposite side has been causing damage to my land and also my neighbor's.

'They filled the river with soil, so the water is now forced into our side. Soon all of the houses here will collapse.'
