A local uses his feet to extract paste from a crop and make a traditional snack in Myanmar.

Villagers chop up the native U-Lai plant into pulp before placing the main ingredients together in a cloth.

The residents pour water while a man stomps on it to squeeze out the juice. Footage shows a man stepping on the U-Lai snack.

The delicious treat needs up to four people to make and tastes like sweet with the consistency of a rice cake.

Local Wangborce Shar Ki said: ‘From cutting down the plant to extracting the paste, we need more people to help make it together. It's a traditional snack that takes long to make but the outcome is worth it.

‘This traditional snack and many people said it is super delicious and energetic food to eat.'
