Farmer builds bicycle using bamboo in Myanmar
A farmer built his own bicycle using bamboo in Myanmar.
Zin Nyi Nyi Htet proudly showed off the wooden two-wheeler's frame that he made using the giant grass stalks in Ayeyarwaddy.
The young tiller's bike was also given a test ride which amazed neighbours who doubted if the design would work.
Footage shows Zin riding the bicycle across a street in front of his home.
He said: ‘My bike is made from bamboo but it is functional. Some people did not believe me because I built it using only my imagination. Now I have proved them wrong.'
