A snorkeling tourist was confused when an ‘ocean plant with feathers' crawled across the seabed in Myanmar.
Footage shows the marine creature with feather-like tentacles swaying with the current in Lanbi province, on September 30.
Thet Saw Naing said he thought the distinct-looking thing was a kind of coral but then it crept to another area underwater
He said: ‘I thought it was an ocean plant with feathers for leaves. When it moved I realised it was something else. I was a bit shocked. I quickly moved away from the rocks.'
The creature is called feather star. I t is found in deep sea and shallows under rocks and uses feathery fringes to move in the water.
