Hundreds of frustrated holidaymakers and commuters arriving at Bristol Airport experience lengthy queues this morning as the half-term getaway begins in earnest. Yesterday passengers described the south west airport as 'absolute chaos', with reports of fights breaking out, and others suffering panic attacks at the conditions at security. Several customers have turned to social media over the last few days to vent their frustrations including Richard Baxter: "Beginning of half term break and Bristol Airport has still not got its act together on having enough staff in place despite numerous recruitment drives. Quite disgraceful that they are considering expansion when they cannot cope with current numbers."
