Animal Rebellion protesters climb into Trafalgar Square fountain with tofu and mock newspapers
Protesters from Animal Rebellion climbed into one of the famous Trafalgar Square fountains in London on Saturday (October 22).
They brought boxes of tofu and read mock copies of 'The Guardian' newspaper depicting a future London where homes are underwater. It is a reference to now former Home Secretary Suella Braverman blaming a "coalition of chaos" and "Guardian-reading, tofu-eating wokerati" for the recent protests by the likes of Just Stop Oil that have blocked roads in London.
