Demonstrators have taken to the streets of London today (October 22) for the National Rejoin March, the first major national pro-European event since 2019.

The demonstration has brought pro-Europeans together to demand the UK government rejoin the European Union.

Footage shows people at Downing Street shouting "Tories out" and demanding a general election.

The protesters want to tell the country and politicians why we should return to the EU as soon as possible and that we are not "waiting for generations".
