A doctor in Vietnam removed a poisonous ant that was crawling into the eardrum and ear canal of the girl in Hung Yen, Vietnam.

According to the doctor, the father took his 10-year-old daughter to the public clinic after she complained of severe ear pain.

The girl said she was lying down to sleep when suddenly her ear hurt and it felt as if an animal was crawling in her ear.

After checking with an endoscope, the doctor discovered a very large ant crawling on her eardrum. This is a type of fire ant, which are venomous and very aggressive.

The doctor used salt water to make the ant crawl out of her ear and not attack her ear canal. After removing the ant, the doctor cleaned the ant's bites and the girl's ear canal.

According to the doctor, the ant probably thought her ear was a burrow and that it could make a nest or stay inside. It is necessary to check the girl's bed and remove all the ants from the bed to avoid other ants from crawling into her ears.

This footage was filmed with the patient's permission.
