A calf attempting to escape flipped over a cage and accidentally freed its companion in northern China.

Video filmed in the city of Tongliao in Inner Mongolia on October 23 shows a calf attempting to jump out of an iron cage flipping it over.

The calf's companion in the cage was accidentally freed but the calf itself was surrounded by the cage again.

The owner Ms Zhou said she found one calf escaped the cage after she got home and checked the security camera.

She found it very funny as the calf she thought was obedient was actually the naughty one trying to escape.
