A five-feet long venomous cobra was rescued from a villager's house in central India Chhattisgarh.

The incident happened in Kalmi Bhata village in Korba district on October 22.

Visuals showed members of the RCRS rescue team capture the snake. The reptile was coiled up inside of a shelf and the rescuer carefully took away all the items before using an iron rod to take it out of the place.

The venomous snake was then brought out in the open where the rescuer carefully put it inside a plastic jar and then shut the lid. According to reports, this happened in the house of Rajendra Kumar, whose family was terrorised after seeing this reptile.

They instantly informed Avinash Yadav, the head of the RCRS organisation who then sent his team members to rescue the reptile.

The captured reptile was then released safely into the wild.
