Huge 7-meters-long or 22-feet-long python has swallowed a woman whole in Indonesia.

Footage filmed in the Terjun Gajah Village, Jambi Province yesterday (October 24), shows residents finding a huge python with a distended stomach in the forest. The next footage shows residents splitting the snake's stomach, and finding the missing citizen's body inside the python's body.

Anton Hasibuan, Head of the Terjun Gajah Village, said the incident began when the previous day, Sunday (October 23), the victim named Jahrah (54) went to the garden to work tapping rubber.

Until that afternoon Jahrah didn’t return home, so her husband, Rusmili, took her to the garden, but Jahrah was nowhere to be found. In the garden, Jahrah's sandals, knife, hijab and jacket were found.

"The victim's husband found the victim's work equipment, then he reported it to me. I reported it to the police and the next day together we searched for the victim in the forest," village head Anton Hasibuan said.

The next day, residents along with police and soldiers found a large python with a bloated stomach in the forest near the victim's garden.

The snake suspected of preying on Jahrah was captured and removed from the forest. Then the residents split open the python's stomach and found Jahrah had died in it.

The bodies of the victims were taken to the funeral home for bathing and burial.
