A cow fell into a 15-feet-deep sewage canal in a residential area of Thiruvallur district, India's state of Tamil Nadu. The owner heard the animal mooing and rushed there to help. When he saw the stuck cow, he immediately contacted the firefighters.

When the rescue team arrived, officers jumped inside the canal and tied the cow with ropes. With the help of a JCB vehicle, they managed to pull the cow out but it wasn't easy. It took firefighters around five around to save it.

The owner thanked the rescue team.

It lifted the cow out safely after a struggle of 5 hours.
