Quick-thinking mum pulls baby away from massive centipede poised to attack
A quick-thinking mum grabbed her baby to pull him away from a massive centipede poised to attack as it crawled through their home.
Kanprapasorn Wattanakitchakan raced to her six-month-old son in his walker upon seeing the venomous creature approaching the infant's tiny feet in Bangkok, Thailand on October 23.
She then hoisted the boy away to safety while her husband chased the insect with an electric racket.
CCTV footage captured Kanprapasorn's quick reactions as she saved the youngster from a painful bite from the 30cm long beast.
The mother said: ‘The centipede was as fat as a broomstick. I can't imagine what kind of pain my baby would feel if such a big centipede bit him.'
No one was hurt and the creature was swept out into the yard.
