This is the gruesome moment a huge wild python regurgitated a farmer's duck when it was caught in Thailand.

The 15ft-long serpent slithered inside a coop and stalked a sleeping baby goose in Ratchaburi province on October 24.

Two hours after sunrise, farmer Chan Wongsakul, 67, went to the cages to feed the birds and found the snake instead before calling for help.

Footage shows the animal rescuer using a pole to secure the creature. However, the enormous snake vomited its large meal in a failed attempt to slither away.

Farmer Chan said: 'The snake ate a four-month-old goose. It was staying in one of the cages that the snake entered.'

The python forced the bird out of its stomach but it was already dead after staying inside for a couple of hours.

Chan helped the rescuer take the creature inside the sack. She used a pole to push the creature while the volunteer hooked its neck with a rod.

Chan added: ‘I will have to build safety nets around my property to protect my birds against snakes.'

The python was placed inside a sack and taken by the rescue volunteer to be released back into the wild.
