This is the amusing moment a monitor lizard interrupted an online seller's live stream in Thailand.

The creature went rampaging through a souvenir shop as a pair of twin brothers were broadcasting from Krabi province on October 21.

The vendors were showcasing their products when the reptile burst in, sparking panic as it slipped past a screaming girl.

It had run into the store while being chased by angry villagers for eating their chickens.

Volunteers later arrived and hauled the beast away.

Asian water monitor lizards normally live in canals, swamps, sewers and ponds in cities in Thailand. They feed on fish, snakes, frogs and scraps of food left by humans.
