Chinese customer uses £2,400 worth of coins to pay car deposit
A customer used £2,400 worth of coins to pay a deposit for a car in northern China.
Video filmed in the city of Langfang in Hebei Province on October 27 shows eight workers in a garage squatting on the floor counting the coins.
According to reports, a young man carried five bags of coins, which were worth 20,000 yuan (£2,400) to pay the deposit for the vehicle.
The coins were reportedly provided by the young man's parents.
The workers finished counting two bags of coins after an hour.
They planned to deposit the coins into the bank after finishing counting them.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
