An adorable ‘K10' cat guard amuses shopping mall visitors in the Philippines.

The ginger feline named Kuya was spotted wearing a black vest that says ‘security' while sitting on top of an inspection table at the entrance of a mall in Cebu, the Philippines on September 19.

While the personnel checked bags and inspected people coming inside the doors, the fluffy creature observed from the platform like a bodyguard.

Footage shows the cat lying on the table as mall-goers enter the establishment.

Onlooker NJ deal Pena jokingly said: ‘Most places have K9 units for security, but this mall has a K10.

‘The look in his eyes seemed like he wouldn't let a bad man inside their workplace. Please beware.'

NJ was heard asking in the background, ‘what's your name, little cat?' Before a smiling guard greeted them.

He added: ‘The cat and the guard seemed very close. I think they also take their lunch breaks together.'

Kuya the cat was reportedly a stray rescued on a feeding mission by mall employees. He was later adopted into the building, where he usually accompanied guards around.
