Around 30 suspected migrants were spotted arriving by dingy on a beach in Dungeness in Kent on Sunday 30 October.

It is thought they are likely to have arrived on the southern English coast from France.

The filmer said they were fishing with their friends at the time.

They said: "After the boat attempted to park on shore, they started to jump out. The coast guard didn't do much. After that we noticed few police cars came by. I think they were all caught and booked."

The UK Ministry of Defence said that on Saturday 29 October almost 1,000 migrants crossed the English Channel, taking the total this month to 6,395 and over 39-thousand this year.

The numbers are so high that conditions at a migrant processing centre in Manston, Kent, have been sharply criticised.

A different processing centre, in Dover, was the target of an attack on Sunday 30 October by a man who threw petrol bombs at it before driving off then killing himself.
