Lilly was found. Tied up to a tree in Mississippi, the temperature was 110 degrees. She was tired up so tightly she could move, she was heavily pregnant . No food or water.. No shade. No food or water left there to die in the harsh elements.
A sheriff came and brought her to a shelter. She had multiple injuries, sustained by a horrible person. The vet discovered she had multiple fractured ribs, she was used in dog fighting because she very docile, multiple missing and broken teeth, broken leg, heart-worm positive, scars all over her body, severely underweight. She was also used for breeding and then thrown away like rubbish.
She was brought to New Jersey in the hopes that someone would adopt this sweet girl.
Now, she’s with my family. Lilly is a dork giving girl despite being tormented, abused and used by some “human”.
Today was Lilly first bath. I wasn’t sure how she would react after everything she’s been though. But she trusts me!
Typically dogs are afraid of the dryer. Not Lilly! Look at that sweet face.
Such a good girl. I am Training her to be a therapy dog for patients in the hospital and nursing home. Lilly loves to learn and loves people!
