Trees sway as Typhoon Nalgae lashes the Philippines
This is the moment trees swayed at a farm as Typhoon Nalgae lashed the Philippines killing at least 98 people.
Footage shows mango and banana trees shaking from gusty winds and severe rains in Central Luzon on October 28.
Local Catalino Taran Jr said their village was not flooded but most of their crops were destroyed.
He said: ‘We were about to harvest the fruits and crops but they were affected by the heavy rains. It would take us another six months before the crops are ready again.'
Typhoon Nalgae, locally known as Paeng, left a massive trail of damage and a death toll of 98 typhoon related deaths. It also left 69 injured while rescuers search for 63 missing individuals.
The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council report stated that Nalgae affected 1.8million individuals. It is expected to exit the country by Wednesday November 2 heading to the southern part of China.
