This is the moment a tourist slammed onto a pool deck after plunging from a giant waterslide in Thailand.

Watcharakorn Lalert hit the concrete edge after coming down the attraction as high as a three-story building in Bangkok on June 26.

Footage shows Watcharakorn gliding down fast before banging his leg hard.

He was taken to the hospital for an x-ray and checked for injuries, but he said he was fine.

The tourist said: ‘I was sliding down fast and couldn't stop. I only had scratches, and there was no serious injury. I hope other visitors take this incident as an example to be careful while using the waterslide.

‘The pool was too short, and the slide was too big. They should make it longer to accommodate the momentum.'

The park's management said they were investigating the incident and checking the slide for safety standards.
