Orange paint is being washed off the walls and cast-iron doors of the iconic building of the Bank of England in the City of London following spray attack by climate activists from Just Stop Oil at 8:30am on Monday morning, 31 October. Four bronze dogmen are watching the action from the Royal Exchange. It is about half past two in the afternoon and cleaning up is still underway. Eco-activists protest against the cost of living crisis and fossil fuel profits.
