Goldfish worth £1,000 electrocuted as sockets fall into tank
A homeowner's goldfish worth £1,000 were electrocuted as sockets fell into the tank.
Video filmed in the city of Guangzhou in Guangdong Province on October 9 shows 26 Ranchu goldfish swimming in a fish tank.
Another clip filmed on October 23 shows a socket in the water surrounded by fish carcasses.
The goldfish owner Mr Chen said the socket was inside a storage box attached to the wall. Due to the weight, the box fell down and the socket fell into the tank.
Chen said the goldfish were worth 8,000 yuan (£959) and it is a pity that they are dead.
