Kind-hearted residents used a quilt to catch a toddler falling from a building in southern China.

Video filmed in the city of Nanchong in Sichuan Province on November 3 shows a toddler laying on a first-floor canopy falling off the residential building.

A group of people below managed to catch the boy by holding out a quilt.

According to people in a nearby shop, the 2-year-old boy climbed out of the window and got trapped on the canopy.

Although nearby residents told the boy to do not to move, he climbed to the side of the canopy and fell off the building.

Fortunately, the boy was not injured.

The video was provided by local media with permission.
