A wall collapsed after a magnitude 5.7 earthquake struck El Salvador yesterday evening (November 3).

Footage shows the structure in ruins after the tremors rocked the Colonia Dina area of San Salvador.

The United States Geological Survey said the quake struck 43 kilometres southwest of La Libertad at a depth of 56.6 kilometres at 4.26 am UTC.

There were no initial reports of casualties, authorities said.
