Elephant rescued in Sri Lanka after falling into well
An elephant was rescued in Sri Lanka after falling into a narrow well on November 2.
Officers struggled to come up with an idea to save the animal. At one point, they decided to pour more water into the well so that it could float. With the help of a bulldozer, they dig a deep path for the animal to easily get out of the hole.
The footage shows the moment the elephant is finally free.
It is believed that the animal was 10 or 15 year old.
