The cyclist was seriously injured, while the Avanza car that hit him immediately fled.

In the video circulating, it can be seen that the incident began when a number of cyclists seemed to stop at the Harmoni intersection. Meanwhile, there are several other cyclists who continue to drive even though the traffic light is red.

In the video, you can hear the screams of a cyclist who stopped at the intersection to continue on his bicycle.

However, a cyclist in yellow who was driving in the front position was immediately hit by a speeding car from the right.

Allegedly, the victim who was pedaling a bicycle with his colleagues from Jalan Gajahmada to Monas was desperate to break through a red light that had been lit. Meanwhile, the car that was speeding from Jalan Veteran to Tomang did not realize that a cyclist was breaking through.

"The bicycle was hit at the Harmoni red light intersection. The bicycle ran through a red light. From Veteran Street it was already green, the cyclist ran through a red light. The victim was helped by his friends, who hit him immediately fled," said Ahmad, a witness at the scene.

Despite running away, the license plate of the vehicle belonging to the hit-and-run perpetrator fell at the scene.
