Playful iguana teases irritable ape at zoo
This is the moment a playful iguana teased an ape at a zoo in Thailand.
Footage shows the reptile sneaking on the other side of the pond where a gibbon lived before chasing each other under a tree in Nakhon Ratchasima province's Korat Zoo on May 27.
A zookeeper said the two creatures were neighbours and would always run around the enclosure.
He said: ‘They might look like they were fighting but they are not enemies. They were actually playing.'
The zookeeper added that the gibbon lived in the tree near the herbivorous lizard that lived in the pond under it.
He said: ‘They are always together and it's a rare thing you will see in zoos. They run around together but never hurt each other.'
