This is a long-standing remedy in this area and is widely used by people. Earthworms, after being caught, will be washed, then cleaned of the soil and dried or sun-dried.
In the video, the worms are cleaned by the farmers and then put in the drying rack and the dried earthworms are obtained.
The dried earthworms are ground into a powder and then boiled into water for the sick person to drink.
Many studies in Vietnam have proven that earthworms have pharmacological effects as follows: Reduce fever, dilate the trachea, anti-histamine, lower blood pressure and inhibit the contraction of the small intestine.
