This is the nail-biting moment a boy was run over by a pickup truck but emerged unscathed in Thailand.

Heart-stopping CCTV footage shows the child retrieving his bike next to the parked pickup in Bangkok on November 2.

He stopped to mount the two-wheeler in the middle of the street when the truck suddenly began backing up and knocked him down.

Luckily, its wheels missed the child lying on the ground.

As the truck rolled forward, the youngster crawled out from underneath, shaken by the near-death experience.

The driver climbed down his seat to check on the crying kid and remove the bike from the truck's wheels before driving away.

The boy's aunt said: 'My nephew was almost run over by a truck. He's fine now, but I want this video to serve as a warning to parents to always take good care of their children.'
