Dozens of fish swim around flooded restaurant as customers slurp hot noodles
This is the bizarre moment dozens of fish swam around a flooded restaurant as customers slurped hot noodles in Thailand.
Footage shows the creatures splashing about under the tables while families ate under a bridge following months of heavy rain in Nakhon Pathum province on November 3.
Some of the customers occasionally threw mung bean sprouts into the water making the hungry fish gather around the dining areas.
Customer Piyawat Phiphattanakhom said they enjoyed feeding the fish as much as the food in the unique restaurant - even though their legs get soaked in the dirty water from the overflowing river.
She said: ‘The fish are a nice attraction. It gives us a unique experience so we are definitely coming back next time.'
The noodle shop has been submerged in knee-deep water next to Tha Chin river as the high tides kept rising.
But instead of moving the shop to another place, the owner thought the fish feeding was a nice attraction to make their restaurant unique.
