A car crashed into a scooter as the two drivers were distracted by an earlier accident on a road in eastern China.

CCTV footage filmed in the city of Dongyang in Zhejiang Province on November 3 shows two cars colliding in the middle of a road and a scooter rider driving past the area slowing down to check out the incident.

Since the motorist of the black car driving behind the scooter was also distracted by the incident, he bumped into the scooter.

Fortunately, the black car was not at a fast speed and the scooter rider was not injured seriously.

11月3日中午，浙江东阳，中山路与亭塘中街路口发生两轿车相撞事故。当事故处置交警赶到现场时发现，现场除了两轿车事故外，边上还有一起越野车与电动车相撞事故。带着疑问，交警通过现场调查，并查看路口公共视频后，这才得知后面这起事故是分心看热闹引起的。
原来当天13时58分许，两辆轿车在通过该路口时发生事故，随后报警等待交警处理。2分钟后，一辆电动车经过该路口，后面跟着一辆越野车，两车驾驶人看到道路中间的交通事故后，都产生了看热闹的心理。电动车驾驶人边驾驶电动车边扭头观看事故现场，而跟在后面的越野车驾驶人也是如此。然而，他们没有意识到危险已经悄悄降临，只见越野车一个没注意，突然追尾撞上了前方电动车尾部，电动车驾驶人当场被撞翻在地。万幸的是，因车速不快，电动车驾驶人没有大碍。事发后，双方经协商互不追究责任。
