A rude passenger was frogmarched off a plane by police after angrily demanding a bottle of water from cabin crew when the plane landed.

The man with bleached blonde hair and a baseball cap stormed to the front of the economy class in the Boeing 777 shortly following the two hour 30 minutes flight from Bangkok, Thailand to Singapore.

Footage shows him yelling at a male flight attendant while demanding water shortly after flight SQ711 landed at the Changi Airport on Tuesday November 8.

The misbehaving traveller was even heard mocking the Asian air host's accent by mimicking his replies as he tried to placate him.

The passenger claimed that he had been asking for water for two hours before a drink was handed to him.

He is heard in the video saying: 'You actually think I'm going to listen, right? Why don't you get me water you f****** idiot. Get me water. F*** off, I'm not interested, do you think I'm interested in your f****** call. F*** off, because I'm going to push you over. Get some water.

'I asked for water for two hours, you're defending them. I asked for water for two hours. After two hours I get water, wow.'

After taking a swig of the drink, the passenger was then escorted off the plane by auxiliary police officers, prompting a round of applause from other fliers.

The filmer, who was a few seats away from the confrontation, said: 'On November 8, when flight SQ 711 landed at Singapore Terminal 2 from Bangok this crazy passenger threatened to push over the Singapore Airlines crew if he did not give him water.

'The seat belt sign was still on and he was supposed to be seated. He wasted all the passengers' time while the ground staff and security took him off the plane.'

In a statement, a Singapore Airlines spokesman said the man had been 'behaving in an unruly manner during the meal service'.

The company said: 'After his multiple requests for alcohol, our cabin crew assessed the situation and politely declined to serve him alcohol to ensure the safety of the other customers on board the flight.

'The safety of our customers and staff is always our top priority.

'SIA apologises to all customers on board the flight for the inconvenience caused by this incident.'
