An alert constable came to the rescue of a woman, who slipped while boarding a moving train in northern India's Haryana.

The incident happened at platform number three of Hisar railway station on November 8.

CCTV footage captured the chilling moment when the lady was seen losing her balance and slipping while trying to get into the moving train (14885).

She did manage to hold on to the handle of the vehicle and the Railway Protection Force (RPF) constable Vinesh Pal, who was on duty at that spot, reacted sharply to ensure that she didn't fall into the gap between the train and the platform.

Pal then pushed the middle-aged lady into the train, ensuring her safety.
